Yes it has been a long time!

Ok, I admit that I have not updated the 'blog' for a long time! I could go on about how busy it has been at Spoke & Sprocket, my eldest daughter moving hew wedding up from October to July, the youngest in college and wanting help with scholarship portfolios, and on and on. However, I am sure none of you really want to hear me whine, so enough of that!

Truth is that things really are rocking at the shop these days. I don't know if it is gas prices, good weather, or what, but we have been busy. We have been selling a lot of bikes (for us) and have a huge pile of repairs.
The backlog should ease a bit as we have hired a new employee which will help a lot. (Take a moment to introduce yourself to to Ben if you see him the next time you are in the shop.) It will also help that Epiphany is now done with her first year of university and will be working more hours. Things should ease up a bit.
We have a bunch of new product in the store. In particular we have been getting Felt bicycles in every week. Most are going out as fast as they come in, but we are getting them! The Z35 has been particularly hot. Relaxed geometry gives a great fit for most riders, carbon fiber frame & fork, and a great component mix have made this a best seller!
Torelli has a BUNCH of new product which we have been selling through at an amazing rate. The Bormio, and Aspect wheels are a BIG hit. We are also selling a bunch of the Bormio and Aspect handlebars as well as Bormio stems. (The Aspect carbon bars are so new they aren't even up on TORELLI's website yet!) For the traditionalist, Torelli now offers their fine Torino tire in a traditional tan sidewall! The Torino Classico is a great handling, and very traditional looking tire, perfect for your vintage road bike! Our hottest seller from last year, the Aspect Carbon Bottle Cage continues to sell like hotcakes, probably because not only is it the best deal on a carbon cage out there, it is one of the best cages at ANY price!
We also have a bunch of clothing in stock these days. We have new shorts & jerseys from Campagnolo, all sorts of team clothing from Nalini, as well as good stock on Descente, Sheila Moon, and others!
Some of this stuff will be making it's way onto the website soon. If you need something in the meantime, just give us a call at the shop and ask. (253-564-1422.) Or drop us an e-mail at mail@spokeandsprocket.com.
